Please note these are only guidelines and you must read and agree to the full terms and conditions linked here.
All sounds used in your remix must be original or fully cleared for commercial release. This means that commercially released tracks cannot be used as samples, but sample libraries like Splice, LoopCloud, Cymatics, Sounds.com etc. are allowed, provided any samples/sounds used are cleared for commercial release.
Entrants are required to incorporate at least one of the provided stems into their remix.
Only one entry per person is permitted. If entrants need to submit a new version, they should replace the old version with the new version by clicking the “Edit Entry” button on the “My Entry” page.
Remixes can only be uploaded to Soundcloud. Remixes can NOT be monetized on SoundCloud. Remixes must NOT be distributed to DSPs (e.g. Spotify, Apple Music etc.). You must not use the stems outside the Remix Competition for any other purpose other than creating the Remix and entering the competition (eg. you may not include the stems in other tracks outside of the competition).
The competition submission period will run from Friday 26th July 2024 until Monday 19th August 2024 @ 23:59 UTC.
The winners will be chosen by our judging team during the judging period starting Tuesday 20th August 2024, based on the production, creative flair, and originality of each submission.
The judging period for the competition will last for nine days immediately following the competition closure date on 19th August @ 23:59 UTC.
Winners will be contacted on 29th August 2024 via the email connected to their RepostExchange account. RepostExchange may share your email address with Warner Music UK so that they can contact you if you are the winner or runner-up. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure their contact details are up-to-date and correct.
Winning tracks and associated SoundCloud profiles will be published on the competition page and RepostExchange media channels on 29th August 2024. Winners may be requested to provide permission for additional information to be published and shared on RepostExchange's platforms and other media channels.
The order of remixes in the playlist displayed under "Entries" on the competition page is determined by the date of entry. Please note that this list does not determine a shortlist or rating of the winners.
Employees of BL3SS, Atlantic Records, Native Instruments, and RepostExchange are ineligible to enter the contest.
This competition is open to legal residents of the UK, US, Ireland, Germany, and Australia, and entrants must be at least 18 years old.
Ineligible entries and/or entrants will be removed from the competition.
Remixes uploaded to SoundCloud after the submission end date may be subject to copyright takedowns. Please ensure your final remix/version is uploaded before this time.
Please note that if you win the Remix Competition, in order to officially have your remix released through Atlantic Records UK you must enter into a Remix Agreement with Warner. You are not obliged to enter into the Agreement however we reserve the right to select an alternative winner should you not wish to do so.
