All sounds used in your remix must be obtained with legal rights. This means that commercially released tracks cannot be used as samples, but sample libraries like Splice, LoopCloud, Cymatics, Sounds.com/Native Instruments etc. are allowed.
Entrants are required to incorporate at least one of the provided stems into their remix.
Only one entry per person is permitted. If entrants need to submit a new version, they should replace the old version with the new version by clicking the “Edit Entry” button on the “My Entry” page.
Remixes can only be uploaded to Soundcloud. Remixes can not be monetized on SoundCloud. Remixes can NOT be distributed to DSPs (e.g. Spotify, Apple Music etc.)
The competition submission period will run from March 4th until March 24th @ 23:59 UTC.
The winners will be chosen by our judging team during the judging period starting 25 March 2024, based on the production, creative flair, and originality of each submission.
The judging period for the competition will last for ten days immediately following the competition closure date on March 24th @ 23:59 UTC.
Winners will be contacted on April 4th 2024 via the email connected to their RepostExchange account. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure their contact details are up-to-date and correct.
Winning tracks and associated SoundCloud profiles will be published on the competition page and RepostExchange media channels on April 4th 2024. Winners may be requested to provide permission for additional information to be published and shared on RepostExchange's platforms and other media channels.
The order of remixes in the playlist displayed under "Entries" on the competition page is determined by the date of entry. Please note that this list does not determine a shortlist or rating of the winners.
Employees of Nathan Dawe, Atlantic Records, Native Instruments, and RepostExchange are ineligible to enter the contest.
This competition is open to jurisdictions where participation is legal, and entrants must be at least 18 years old.
Ineligible entries and/or entrants will be removed from the competition. Credit entry fees are non-refundable.
Remixes uploaded to SoundCloud after the submission end date may be subject to copyright takedowns. Please ensure your final remix/version is uploaded before this time.
