Create a song at least 1 minute in length and no longer than 2 minutes in length.
All sounds used in your song must be obtained with legal rights. This means that commercially released tracks cannot be used as samples, but sample libraries like Splice, LoopCloud, Cymatics, etc. are allowed.
Your entry can not include lyrics.
Only one entry per person is permitted. If entrants need to submit a new version, they should replace the old version with the new version by clicking the “Edit Entry” button on the “My Entry” page. Please note, that those using Soundcloud Next Pro can replace the audio on Soundcloud directly and keep their Soundcloud stats.
The competition submission period will run from 4th December to 18th January 2024.
The winners will be chosen by our judging team during the judging period starting 18th January, based on the production, creative flair, originality, syncability, and brand representation of each submission.
The judging period for the competition will last for two weeks immediately following the competition closure date on 18th January 2024.
Winners will be contacted on 1st February 2024 via the email connected to their RepostExchange account. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure their contact details are up-to-date and correct.
Winning tracks and associated SoundCloud profiles will be published on the competition page and RepostExchange media channels on 1st February 2024. Winners may be requested to provide permission for additional information to be published and shared on RepostExchange's platforms and other media channels.
By entering this competition you agree to work in collaboration with RepostExchange on synchronising your music to their advertisement in the case you have won. This includes providing revisions and alt versions.
By entering this competition you agree that your music will be deemed a work for hire in the case your entry is one of the three winners chosen. You will be paid a flat fee of $250.00 as a Buyout. This means RepostExchange will own all the rights to the song, worldwide, exclusively and in perpetuity.
RepostExchange reserves the right not to use the winning tracks in their Advertisements.
The entrant is responsible for paying any tax associated with the $250 payment.
Payments will be made via PayPal or Bank Transfer (to US/UK/EU banks only).
The order of entries in the playlist displayed under "Entries" on the competition page is determined by the date of entry. Please note that this list does not determine a shortlist or rating of the winners.
Employees of RepostExchange are ineligible to enter the contest.
This competition is open to jurisdictions where participation is legal, and entrants must be at least 18 years old.
Ineligible entries and/or entrants will be removed from the competition. Credit entry fees are non-refundable.
