We are thrilled to announce our new Remix Competition on RepostExchange! Your challenge is to remix ‘Quest For Peace’ by Nick Ray and Kibeatzer!

Independent artist Nick Ray hails from New Orleans where he began his career in rock and indie bands before branching out solo. He’s become known for his soulful voice and for experimenting with a range of genres and collaborating with members from all over the world. Nick has been a RepostExchange member for many years, having even been interviewed by Jaz on the Re-Ex Podcast back in 2020!

‘Quest For Peace’ was originally an acoustic track before Nick sent it to Kibeatzer, an EDM producer from Nancy, France, who took the sound into a totally different direction. Specialising in a mix of future house and future bounce, Kibeatzer started uploading music to SoundCloud and released his first single in 2019.

On the track, Nick explains, “This song touches on inner human turmoil that we all face from time to time. The struggles that some of us face internally. I think some can relate to searching for peace in their life and silencing the inner demons.”
