Introducing Feedback Reports (BETA) on Re-Ex

Find out what listeners really think of your track

You've finished a track. Your friends say it's great. But would a stranger turn it up, skip it, or follow you after hearing it?

Feedback Reports answer that question. Pick a track, and real Re-Ex members listen to it, react to it moment by moment, and tell you honestly what's working and what isn't. Their answers are aggregated and come together in one clear report.

And if you're on the other side of the headphones, Feedback Reports are a new way to earn credits by listening to music and sharing what you hear.

For creators: honest feedback, in one report

What's in your report

The scores. How reviewers rated your mix against your genre, your arrangement and your sound choices, plus an overall rating out of 10.
The big questions. Would they listen again? Add it to a playlist? Follow you? Is the track ready to release, almost there, or does it need more work?
A reaction timeline. Reviewers drop positive and warning markers on your waveform as they listen, so you can see exactly where your track grabs people and where it loses them.
Their first impressions. What they felt in the first minute, and whether they'd have turned it up or skipped it.
Advice in their own words. Every reviewer finishes with the one thing they'd tell you, plus what's working that you should keep.

All feedback is anonymous. You won't see who said what, so reviewers can be completely honest with you.

Pick your package

Each review costs 25 credits, with no setup fee during the beta trial.

5 reviews = 125 credits
10 reviews = 250 credits
25 reviews = 625 credits
50 reviews = 1,250 credits

When you'll see results

Your report unlocks as soon as 5 reviews are in, and we'll let you know when it's ready. It keeps filling up as more reviews arrive, and we'll notify you again when your campaign has finished. Campaigns don't expire, so there's no deadline to worry about.

For reviewers: earn credits for your opinions

Every review you submit earns you credits, paid the moment it's submitted. How much depends on your plan:

FreeForever = 15 credits
Artist Plan = 20 credits
Network, Promoter, Ultimate Plan = 25 credits

How a review works

Pick a track to review. You'll see tracks in your genres first, with the credits you'll earn for each.
Reserve it. Your spot is held for 20 minutes, so you won't be racing anyone else.
Listen. The first-impression questions open after one minute of listening, and the rest open after three minutes (or near the end, for shorter tracks). Feel free to skip around!
Mark the moments. Drop positive and warning markers on the waveform wherever something stands out.
Answer the questions about the sound, the arrangement and where the track lands for you, then tell the artist the one thing you'd most like them to hear.
Submit and get paid. Your credits land straight away.

There's a private scratchpad for your own notes while you listen, which the artist never sees. You can do up to 10 reviews a day.

Artists can rate your written advice from 1 to 5 stars. After 5 ratings you'll get your own helpfulness score, and the best reviewers will feature on our leaderboards (coming soon).
