If an account has large numbers of fake or low quality SoundCloud followers, the quality of their reposts (and the results gained from them) will be lower.

We have created an algorithm called FollowScore which analyses member accounts with more than 5000 followers. By examining a number of indicators, we are able to establish the overall quality of an account’s followers.

The score, which ranges between 0 and 100, now dictates how much a member can earn from reposting campaigns.

• For the first 5k followers, everyone will earn 1 credit per 100 followers.
• Above 5k followers, the FollowScore is used to determine earnings

For example, a member with 100k followers and a FollowScore of 70, will earn:

• 5k Followers @ 1 credit per 100 users = 50 credits
• 95k Followers @ 0.7 credits per 100 users  = 665 credits
• = 715 credits (as opposed to 1000 credits under the current system)

The majority of large accounts on RepostExchange have a FollowScore of 100 (well done). However some members score much lower. The new system means the credits they can earn from your campaigns will also be much lower, despite them having a high reach (on paper).
